Just a few steps away from Kronotrop, Geyik Coffee Roastery & Cocktail Bar’s bright orange coffee roaster expels its fresh coffee bean fumes into the street. Serkan İpekli, the co-owner and barista alongside mixologist Yağmur Engin, is in love with coffee and it’s clearly present in one of the smoothest espresso shots we have ever tasted. Beans from El Salvador, Colombia, Honduras, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua are used but change according to Serkan’s professional whims. After a certain hour, the cafe turns into a bar with delicious cocktails.
