Geyik Coffee Roastery & Cocktail Bar is somewhat of a hotspot in the international and hip neighborhood of Cihangir, serving excellent coffee by day and delicious cocktails by night. It has been attracting a trendy, bohemian crowd since it opened in 2014 and this small coffee shop has a cosy interior filled with dark wood and black metal features such as the bar, the bench seating and wall mounted coffee tables. A vibrant splash of color is provided by the barista station on the counter and the bright orange coffee roaster in the doorway which expels its infectious, fresh coffee bean fumes into the street. 

Serkan İpekli, the co-owner and barista, alongside mixologist Yağmur Engin, is responsible for the acquisition and roasting of beans from such countries as El Salvador, Colombia, Honduras, Ethiopia, and Nicaragua, which change according to Serkan’s professional whims. And his whims should definitely be trusted as he was the 2013 Turkish Barista Champion and has an unabated passion for great coffee. After a certain hour, the cafe turns into a bar with delicious and innovative cocktails being mixed by Yağmur that soon have the small space filled with Cihangir’s party set and groups spill out onto the street outside. On Saturday and Sunday mornings there are traditional Turkish breakfasts on offer and Serkan also runs coffee workshops on a regular basis to share his knowledge, passion and skills.
